I am a Ph.D. student in Prof. Mingoo Seok’s VLSI Lab at Columbia University. My research interest lies in algorithm-to-hardware co-design for ML and neuromorphic computing. I interned at Apple in 2024. My study is supported by the Kwanjeong Scholarship.
I received both MSEE and BSEE at KAIST respectively in 2022 and 2017. Supervised by Prof. Hyeon-Min Bae during MS, I researched CNN accelerators and SNN-based sensor regression. During my URP in undegrad, I also worked with Prof. SeongHwan Cho on wireless bio-signal transmission and received Qualcomm Innovation Award.
I served my nation as a Research Officer for National Defense (ROND) at the Agency for Defense Development (ADD) from 2017 to 2020. Wherein, I researched signal encoders and anomaly detection algorithms for chem-bio warfare agent.
